Have you heard of some of the new studies to fight cancer, or studies to help patience threw chemotherapy? Well, I have. I’m blogging about cancer, and new researched studies to try and find cures. The reason why I’m doing this is because my baby cousin died of bone cancer when he was 4 years old, and I want to see if there’s any new research so nobody else’s family had to experience what mine did.

 Scientists are doing a research study on how adult stem cells from mice converted to antigen-specific T cells. Scientists are doing it to find a way for the body’s immune system to fight off cancer. Alot of scientists have to practice there studies on animals. They use animals because there closest to our human dna.

Researchers are studying on how the use Clostridium sporogenes which is a bacteria that can found in the soil. They have study on how to use this bacterium as a new cancer therapy since the bacteria spores on in grow in solid tumors where bacterial enzyme is produced. A lot of plants are used for medical researches. Theres actually a plant in the rain forest thats supposed to cure cancer. The soil and other plants are very useful to us.

Researchers at Oregon State discovered that if you drink beer it will help prevent cancer because of a flavonoid compound called xanthohumol. There’s a lot of xanthohumol compound in beer, but there trying to come up with a health beer that will be
better for you and have more compounds. I think its insane that everyone says drinking beer is bad for you, and in alot of ways it is but now you can say it helps you fight cancer. In saying this though it dose not give the right to drink more than intended on the body, or have underage drinking.

Researchers in Florida State University and Mississauga State University have created a glue like substance that makes cancer cells more vulnerable to chemotherapy. They are trying to make it easier on cancer patients who are going through therapy so hopefully they don’t have to go back for more chemotherapy. I hope they can get this study to actually work; because its really hard on cancer patients to go threw chemotherapy. Chemothereapy makes cancer patients sick, loose there hair, and weight loss. would you want any of that to happen to one of your loved ones?

Cancer to me is one of the worst diseases possible out there. It puts people through pain, sadness, and stress. So I hope somewhere out there someone will find a cure to stop it. It’s kind of like a video game you have a mission, and you go to put forth that mission, but you lose too many points and you die.

What does it mean to you that there’s cures out there, but people are still dying from this disease?  What other researches can we do to find a cure? How many researches do we have to do to find the right cure?
